According to a new MTV/AP survey, Americans aged 13 to 24 value time with families, friends and loved ones above all else. In fact sexually active 13 to17 year olds report much lower levels of happiness. In a study of MTV programming, the Parents Television Council found an average of 9 sexual scenes per hour with approximately 18 sexual depictions and 17 instances of sexual dialogue or innuendo. Ratings indicate that 75 percent of teens watch MTV.
The seven-month MTV/AP study looked at happiness among people aged 13 to 24. The most striking finding, given that the study comes from MTV, was that parents are seen as an overwhelmingly positive influence in the lives of most young people. None of this is reflected on MTV, though. Surprisingly, MTV pays no attention to its own survey so that its programming will mirror what teens say really matters.

Members of Charles City Public Library with a valid card can now enjoy music download with three songs per week free from the Song Music catalog. The members can even take them on their computers and make a CD or audio file of it. But unlike the CDs being checked out from the library, it is not expected to return the music.
Sony Music includes great labels like Columbia and RCS with sub categories like country, pop, classical, rock, Christian, jazz, gospel , rap and hip-hop. Jill Gray, the director of the Charles City Public Library says that one can spend the entire day looking for music. He also added that it was a cool way for libraries to provide music and make it more versatile and public oriented.

Now music lovers will be able to gain offline playlist access with one more app directed at the android market. We7 Radio Plus which finds some similarity with Spotify and imeem hit the Android market early this week.
We7 Radio Plus helps connect mobile phones to the Internet using 3G or Wi-Fi connections, but if these connections are unavailable, the innovative app allows for the creation of a playlist and personal radio stations based around loved artists, saving them onto the mobile phone ready for listening.
We7 Radio Plus is not yet considered as an option over Spotify, which also allows saving tracks to a playlist that can be listened to offline, but is gaining top spot because it is free. Another app that lets users design a customised playlist is the imeem, which is now owned by MySpace. It offers optimum sound clarity when used with Wi-Fi rather than 3G, but this shortcoming may not make it a strong contender to We7 Radio Plus in the future.
